What is collected

Cookies

Cookies are small files stored by your browser. This site stores one item locally to remember that the cookie notice has been seen. Measurement tags may store further cookies. You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings at any time, and the site will still work.

Legal basis

Technical data is processed on the basis of a legitimate interest in running a secure site. Where the law in your country requires consent for measurement cookies, that consent is the basis and can be withdrawn through your browser settings.

Who receives data

The hosting provider that serves the site, and Google as the provider of the measurement tools. Data is not sold. Some providers may process data outside your country, under the safeguards the law requires.

How long data is kept

Server logs are kept for a short period for security purposes. Measurement data is kept for the periods set by the tool provider. Emails are deleted once they are no longer needed.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your data, to object to or restrict its processing, and to complain to your data protection authority. Write to the editor to use any of these rights.
